The Pilcher Foundation for Creative Writing

Finca El Tornero de Abajo not only runs as a private house, but is also home to the Pilcher Foundation of Creative Writing

The Foundation was set up in 1998 by both Robin and Rosamunde Pilcher to encourage and build confidence in writers where self-doubt overrides ability. To date, creative writing workshops have been held throughout the year for both private groups and corporate organizations. Courses are now run primarily through short story website Shortbread and 'creative writing in business' organization Dark Angels.

The Foundation is looking to forge links with both local and international literary groups in the future.
